Coronavirus – COVID-19 and SSPS

Your committee has been considering the implications for the various activities of SSPS of the current situation regarding the coronavirus.

At this stage we will be continuing with our normal activities, but the committee will continue to review the situation frequently in the light of developments in the Australian community and the advice from the State and Federal governments.  As the situation changes we will advise of any changes that may be necessary.

In this critical time we all have a responsibility to other members of SSPS as to how we conduct ourselves.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

With immediate effect, members are requested NOT to attend club meetings if you have returned from Asia, Iran or Italy in the past 14 days, or if you have had contact in the past 14 days with somebody who is a confirmed case of COVID-19.

I have attached a document produced by the Victorian Government covering 10 ways to reduce your risk of coronavirus.  Please read it.
