The European Wildlife Photographer of the Year has announced the winners of its 2023 contest. This year's overall winner is Spanish photographer Javier Aznar Gonzlez de Rueda for his image of a stinkbug's maternal behavior. Congrats, Javier, you've made me hate stinkbugs just a tad less! In this video, we're editing some RAW fall colors photographs from this weekends trip into the Smokey Mountains. Unedited, these images are quite flat and dull, and I want to edit them more true to life. I'm not gonna lie AI-generated images are getting harder and harder to spot. They've become super-realistic, sometimes almost impossible to tell them apart from real photos. Add our short attention span to the equation, and the fact that we don't spend too much time analyzing and you get fake news and viral "photos" that aren't photos at all.

But regardless of how advanced AI generators are, human reasoning still has an advantage (at least for now). And I'm on a mission to help you... more
