Sigma has released new firmware for its 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM lens for Canon mount. According to Sigma, firmware version 1.01 improves the AF performance of the lens. When attached to the Sigma mount converter MC-11 AF performance will be improved as well. In addition the optical image stabilization mechanism can operate at faster speeds.
