A company from California called Aurora Aperture has introduced a variable density filter that can cut up to eleven stops of light, an amount it claims is more than any other variable ND on the market. The Aurora PowerXND 2000 has a rating of ND 16-2000 or ND 1.2-3.3, meaning that it can reduce exposures by between 4 and 11 stops. While there are filters with fixed ND values greater than 11 stops, variable neutral density filters usually stop at 10 stops.

Together with its new Galaxy S7 and S7 edge flagship phones, Samsung has announced the Galaxy Gear 360 camera at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
