I just finished reading Karl Marxs Capital and The Communist Manifestoand I was so amazed to see how modern a lot of his ideas are.

Before Sony ever put a 1"-type sensor in a compact, there was the Canon PowerShot G series. If you wanted extensive controls without all the weight of a DSLR, the G-series compacts were where you looked.
