Sphericam has introduced 'Beast,' its new pro-grade 360-degree VR camera. This beastly model features four 1" 4096 2160 image sensors, four 190 fisheye lenses, and four M.2 SSD drives with a 2.8 GBs bit rate. This combination of hardware enables the camera to record 'more than' 6K resolution footage, according to Sphericam, at 60 fps in a 10-bit Raw format (30fps for stitched content). Beast is designed for use by studios and other companies in need of pro-grade VR hardware.

Over at Adobe MAX 2016, Adobe gave a sneak peek of a new technology they’re brewing called SkyReplace. The feature makes it extremely easy to replace the sky and look of a photo with just a few clicks and zero Photoshop knowledge. You can watch it in action in the 5-minute demo above.

If youre like me, chances are good that a normal part of your mobile kit for photo travel is a laptop computer. However, given the choice, it would also be one of the first things I would jettison from my travel kit thanks to the added weight and space it consumes in my pack. Unfortunately, I haven't found a viable way to do it since I usually need to back up data, do some editing in the field, and share images to social media or to clients.
