Amazon is tightening its belt when it comes to its cloud data storage services. The company has just announced that its $60 a year plan for unlimited data storage is being abruptly discontinued. For that same rate, you’ll now only be able to store 1TB of data.

Mango Street lab put together a fun video where two individuals, one a pro and one an amateur, shoot the same model and compare results. The catch? The pro is shooting with a kit costing around $500 used: a Canon T3i and 18-55mm kit lens, plus a 40mm F2.8 pancake. The amateur on the other hand is using a kit costing nearly 10x as much: a Canon 5D Mark IV and 35mm F1.4L II.

German optical manufacturer Meyer-Optik-Gorlitz has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help it reintroduce its Lydith 30mm F3.5 lens. The original lens was launched in 1964 and the forthcoming version will remain true to the basic design of five elements in five groups, but the new company will be updating a number of its features.
Nikon has updated its NEF Codec to version 1.31.0, bringing new support to Windows Photo Gallery, Live Photo Gallery, and Photo Viewer. After updating, all three applications are able to display the previews embedded within NEF images. The software can be downloaded now from Nikon's website.
