Aram Pan has set out to make a documentary that 'captures the essence of North Korea through the use of 360° panoramas, photos and videos.' Microsoft has retired its Photosynth apps for Windows Phone and iOS. The apps allow mobile users to create spherical panoramas. Microsoft is directing users instead to its new web-based Photosynth technical preview, which it calls a more immersive and robust platform. Read more
