Instagram just released version 8.2 of its iOS app. Among the “bug fixes and performance improvements” is a new iOS extension that lets you post directly to Instagram from elsewhere in iOS.

What this means is that you can now upload an Instagram photo directly from your Photos app. Other apps that utilize the built-in iOS share box can now send photos and videos directly to your Instagram account as well.

At Computex in Taipei recently, Chinese company Weeview Inc. showcased a USB-C dongle that adds another camera to an Android phone, enabling it to record stereoscopic 3D videos. Called Eye-Plug, this camera dongle records content simultaneously with either the rear or front-facing camera integrated in the handset; because it uses USB-C, the dongle can be inserted in either direction.

A few days ago, we had a crazy flood in Paris. The Seine rose by a whopping 6.10m (20 feet for you imperial friends), overflowing the banks, depriving people of electricity, and flooding buildings, public transports, and businesses.
